Check your connection and try again from Right Now. A saved reading is labeled stale. Missing readings, old forecasts and an absence of alerts never establish that the water is safe. Open the linked NOAA or National Weather Service source for current guidance.
Choose an area without location access
Tap Change beside the area name and select a place. Location permission is optional. The first release covers Hampton Roads and nearby Virginia waters.
About places and tides
Explore pins show an area or conditions station, not a verified entrance. Follow the dated official access source on each place page. Predicted high and low tides do not describe currents, storm surge or safe navigation.
Reminders and privacy
Schedule a single tide reminder from Tides. Turn off Tide reminders in Preferences to cancel scheduled reminders. Device settings also control delivery. The app is not an emergency-alert service. Clear local data and control optional measurement from Preferences.
